The Houston-based green builder is planning to create a gated community in Sugar Land of 100 upscale Mediterranean-style patio and townhomes, many of which front the water, within the 186-acre mixed-use development. Enclave at Lake Pointe marks the largest community for the five-year-old ZK Homes.

ZK Homes Launches New Sugar Land Project

Sugar Land is getting its first patio home development in Lake Pointe near the new Whole Foods Market Sugar Land, according to the developers building the high-end green patio homes and townhomes.The project, called Enclave at Lake Pointe, will have 80 patio homes and 20 townhomes designed with a Mediterranean theme using tile roofs, stone and stucco exteriors and gas lamps. Prices will start in the high $400,000s. The most expensive units will front Oyster Creek and Brooks Lake. Zieben Kirksey Development, a local company led by Lee Zieben and John Kirksey, recently bought 12 acres from Planned Community Developers in Lake Pointe Texas for the project — their biggest so far.
